Markets and Chocolate

Today we started off at the local farmers market. It was a little bit different from what I expected. They had everything from makeup to fish. The aroma was strange throughout the market. However the people were very friendly. I thought it was very interesting to see that they sold make up, nail polish and jewelry. This is mainly because I was expecting their markets to consist of only necessities. All of the food was fresh. They had various colorful vegetables and fruits. They also had stands that only sold cheese. Other stands had meats and fish. My favorite was the stands selling fresh fruit. Everything looked amazing. They also had stands that were selling clothes and shoes. The prices were very cheap. Overall the market was a very interesting experience!

After we went to the market we got hot chocolate. We went to a cafe called Les Deux Magots. It was amazing. We ordered fresh croissants along with our hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was extremely rich! It tasted like melted hershey kisses. I would definitely recommend going there!

I thought this was extremely interesting. At the cafe there was a woman with her dog. She fed the dog chocolate and sugar (with the wrappers still on). Her dog was really cute but I found this to be a little strange.
