Overwhelming Artwork

At the end of the day we visited the Musee d'Orsay. The building itself was incredible. The inside was overwhelming. There was so much art to see. 

My favorite piece by far was Restaurant de la Machine a Bougival. The artist is Vlaminck. This is an impressionist piece of art. 

This sculpture is named Eternelle Doular. The artist is Paul Darde. 

This piece that can be found in the museum is very interesting. Personally I found it to be quiet disturbing. In the scene playing in the museum a man cuts a woman's eyeball. I think everyone around was very weirded out by this. This is a scene from the movie Un Chein Andalou. A 1920's horror film.

This is an impressionist painting. It is suppose to represent the moon. I really liked this painting. I thought it was very interesting and beautiful. The name of the painting is Clair de Lune. The artist is Leon Spillaert.
