Quite an Eventful Day in Paris

Versallies!

One of the room inside.

Trying to fit the whole castle in!

I highly recommend going canoeing in Versallies.

Today started off a bit rough. After traveling thirty minutes on a metro we realized we were on the wrong one and ended up on the outskirts of Paris. When we finally arrived at Versailles it was amazing. We got to see the inside of the palace. It was beautiful. After that we explored the outside of the palace. The gardens were amazing. We went canoeing in Versailles. It was one of the best part of the trips so far. The views were in incredible. It was also so much fun. Although Abby and I were not very good at steering we got stuck in the lake for quite some time. Then we went to a fun sandwich shop. We took the metro back into Paris to visit to the American Embassy. After that we took the metro to the bread festival in front of Notre Dame. It was delicious. We got to see them prepare it. It was interesting and the whole building smelt delicious. Next we went inside Notre Dame it was beautiful. The windows were amazing. The high ceilings were also breathe taking. After that we went into the Crypt. It was interesting to see. I would recommend it to anyone in the Notre Dame area. I also enjoyed seeing the nuns and priests. For dinner we we're hosted by our professors sister. It was really good. The food was amazing we had cheese from all regions of France. Bradley also had a great time. The dessert was also amazing. I really enjoyed the eclairs. After dinner we got to see the Eiffel Tower light up. It was beautiful. Today was an amazing day all together!
